Naumon, the vessel of La Fura dels Baus, will go around the world with an innovative sail.

La Vanguardia, August 27, 2019.

The ship Naumon, owned by the theater group La Fura dels Baus, is scheduled to begin a round-the-world trip in early 2020 with an innovative rigid sail to commemorate the first circumnavigation initiated under the command of Ferdinand Magellan in 1519 and finished by Juan Sebastián Elcano in 1522.

La Fura dels Baus vessel will be propelled by a sail designed by bound4blue.

José Luis Pelegrí, director of the Spanish Institute of Marine Sciences, Carles Padrissa, founder and artistic director of La Fura dels Baus, and José Miguel Bermúdez, CEO of Bound4Blue, have signed a collaboration agreement for the project with the ship Naumon, a cargo vessel owned by the theater group La Fura dels Baus.
